2.- About the song ‘Seven Seas’
‘Seven Seas’ is the sixth track of the album ‘Twilight Kingdom’, released this year on Gerrard Records. The array of collaborators for this album includes Patrick Cassidy, Daniel Johns, Astrid Williamson and has also incorporated words by fellow Australian Russell Crowe.
Like the remaining nine tracks of this album, ‘Seven Seas’ is a melodic song without any percussive elements. We have chosen it due to its overwhelming beauty (and inspirational video).
We share with you some inspirational words today:
‘1. No one is you and that is your biggest power
It’s YOUR VOICE. Cherish it. Respect it. Nurture it. Challenge it. Stretch it and scream until it’s f**king gone because everyone is blessed with at least that, and who knows how long it will last… […].
Who’s to say what’s a good voice, and what’s not a good voice? The Voice? Imagine Bob Dylan sitting there singing ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ in front of Christina Aguilera’.

You are unique. Enjoy it, nourish it, be proud of it.

Grotesque, fascinating, macabre, haunting. These adjectives describe the fascination of mankind regarding the natural mysteries of our planet. Last month we chose a song of Black Tape for a Blue Girl, the band of Sam Rosenthal, founder of Projekt Records. This month we bring you a song of Mirabilis, another of the groups linked to this label.
The word ‘mirabilis’ is Latin for wonderful, miraculous, or unusual. No wonder why this is the chosen name for the neo-classical/ethereal project of Dru Allen (This Ascension, Mercury’s Antennae) and Summer Bowman (the Machine in the Garden), as they have spent thirteen years creating beautiful, vocal-centered original compositions alongside reinterpreted pieces ranging from medieval to pop music.
