Discover the always inspiring ‘Grandiloquent Word of the Day’

23/07/2014 By JF Alfaya 2 Comments

Grandiloquent Word of the Day

Irene and I find amazing images sometimes. Some of them are inspiring, some of them are spooky, some of them are breathtaking.

We are pleased to share this stuff with you through different channels (our accounts at Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr…) when they suit Decimononic’s aesthetics and values , but naturally some artists deserve extra attention. And this is the case of a project started in 2012, the one and only…

Grandiloquent Word of the Day

Grandiloquent Word of the Day is a rather cheeky & irreverent look at the English language. A place for “Word Nerds”, Steampunks and anyone else in general to find big fancy new words to add to their daily conversations.

This is the description of the project that offers its Facebook page. We think that it is educative, amusing and entertaining. Enjoy this gallery full of victorianesque imagery and language wisdom, it features just a small sample of the 800+ quotes available at present (and growing!).
