I had the honor of attending the opening of the exhibition ’10 Years of Designer Jewelry in the Atlantic’ last week (unfortunately Irene could not make it to travel with me to Pontevedra this time). Besides being there as designer, I had the privilege of speaking on behalf of the ‘Asociación Joyas de Autor’.

Some of the authorities that added to the brilliance of the occasion were Mr. José Carlos Valle Pérez, Director of the Provincial Museum of Pontevedra, Mr. Antonio Penín, President of the Association of Watchmakers and Jewelers of Pontevedra, Mr. Carlos Pereira, Director of the Technical School of Jewellery of the Atlantic, and Ms. Carmela Silva Rego, President of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, among others.
As Irene and I have previously said, we are very honored to have one of our pieces chosen for this incomparable exhibition and we want to reiterate our congratulations to the organizers and sponsors.
