Jewelry is important, but we all know that there are things more important. One of those things is solidarity.
We had the priviledge to be invited to participate in a solidary project, Rias Baixas 2018. Organized by our friend and fellow jewelry designer Santiago Prada, this event took place at La Toja Casino for the benefit of Yessica Martinez, a young Galician girl with a rare neurological disorder.
Jewelry pieces of the enrolled designers were exhibited at four jewelry shops of the area: Padín Joyeros (Bueu), Joyería Palamios (Pontevedra), Joyería Cardy (O Grove) and Joyería Gerardo (Vigo). The crowning moment was the catwalk at Casino La Toja on the evening of 18th August, a really touching moment for all of us.
We want to thank all the people involved in this project: Escuela Técnica de Joyería del Atlántico, SweetModelsCommunity, Lozano Gemólogos, Pacucho Álvarez DJ, the fashion designer Pablo Prusi and more. We cannot help but highlight too the support of the Spanish Association of Signature Jewelry Designers and Mujeres Brillantes association. Hopefully we are not forgetting anyone… in any case, you know who you are.
This has been an amazing opportunity to display some one-of-a-kind pieces of our Nautilus Collection. Below, some pics by the talented photographers Antonio Portela R and Carlos Turanzas. Kudos!
