I. Decimononic confirmed as exhibitor at Madrid Joya 2014
Irene and I are thrilled because this Autumn looks really exciting. Are you wondering why? Because after several months of hard work, our new jewelry collection will be presented next month. It is very different from the Machinarium Collection on a technical and aesthetical level, but naturally it has been conceived as a hymn to Singularity.
But we are not only going to present a brand new collection… we are going to do it on a large scale, as a preview of this new collection, entitled Metropolis, is going to be presented at Madrid Joya 2014, the biggest trade fair for the Spanish jewelry industry. The 51th edition of this event will take place from 10 to 14th September and our fine jewelry pieces will be available at booth 10H18A, together with the creations of other members of the Spanish Jewelry d’Auteur Association (‘Asociación Joyas de Autor’ in Spanish). By the way, we have to say that we feel highly honored to have joined recently this non-profit organization that aims to spread Jewelry d’Auteur worldwide.
Are you intrigued about the upcoming Metropolis fine jewelry collection by Decimononic? Are you wondering why have we chosen this name? What will it look like? Which materials are to expected? Which technical challenges have we had to overcome? The wait may prove lengthy, so we are going to give you a sneak peak of it.
II. The Metropolis Collection by Decimononic
This new collection has been baptized Metropolis as a tribute the cinema masterpiece directed by Fritz Lang. This movie has been our main source of inspiration at various levels in order to develop this collection of geometrical lines and such an extraordinary metal as titanium, combined with sterling silver and gemstones.
For the moment we are only going to share with you this image: the Babylon Ring.
We have very high expectations regarding this new collection, if you do not want to miss anything you should subscribe to our newsletter and rss feed. Stay tuned!
