Have you heard of many Steampunk-themed pubs? Probably not, and neither have we. For this reason we cannot help but recommend you the only Spanish Steampunk pub we have ever heard of: Ithilien.
Located in Chapineria, 50 km away from Madrid, Ithilien has been in the thick of things for more than 10 years, becoming more and more involved in the Steampunk movement progressively.
It is one of those infrequent places were you can never be bored, essentially because there is a small treasure awating in any nook and cranny of Ithilien; in some way it is a real Wunderkammer, full of all kinds of wonders: from Sherlock Holmes related material to Steampunk creations. However, the best of Ithilien is the team behind it. Esther and Paco are charming people that demonstrate again and again that they have plenty of imagination and creativity to create unforgettable entertainment experiences in an always welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
On the occasion of the Steampunk convention ‘Hijos del Nautilus’ (which means ‘Sons of the Nautilus’ in English), the Ithilien owners invited us to exhibit some of our jewelry pieces. As could only be expected, we are most thankful for this kind gesture and for the excellent reception of those present. Just a couple of pictures of the exhibition to satisfy your curiosity.
