Aghast Manor is a discontinued project of Andrea Haugen, a German singer and musician very recognised in the European underground music scene. She was married to Tomas Haugen, a multi-instrumentalist well known in the Norwegian black metal scene, and became popular due to the success of her collaboration with Tania Stene: the dark ambient project Aghast.
Andrea is responsible for the music of Hagalaz’ Runedance, a project she dedicated to the pagan spirituality of Northern Europe. Since 2003 she releases all her music under her artist name of Nebelhexë. She also writes filmscripts since then, both horror and satire (and her music has been included in several soundtracks).
Aghast Manor was a side project with two full-lenght albums: Gaslights and Penetrate (the theme ‘Fear’was the penultime song of the first one).
Sit back and relax. As we always say, beauty may be found in unexpected places…
The series of posts ‘A Singular Soundtrack‘ features music videos of songs that we find inspirational, songs that match the aesthetic sensibility of Decimononic and give shape to its universe.
